It’s easy to get hooked on national artists that you hear over and over on the radio. When was the last time you listened to a local artist and got hooked on their overall vibe, music, and stage presence? Kia Nicole is one to add to your playlist. She is a Pensacola native, who came to Jax 13 years ago for college and stayed because of the support she has received from her fans. Kia Nicole is bringing you jazzy soulful vibes. Her music would be compared to the likes of Jill Scott, India Arie, Lauryn Hill, and Chrisette Michelle. She has released 2 albums “Reacquainted” and “There’s Still time,” which have been very successful. She has performed songs from those albums at Jax and Beaches Jazz Fest, Jax Porchfest, Black Expo, Oysterfest, and other local events.

Now she’s ready to present her new 9 track Holiday Album titled: “On Love: A Holiday Album.” She is very passionate about the meaning of this album, which has music for every Holiday up until the New Year, not just Christmas. When you listen to her latest album you will be reminded that love should take precedence over all you do as you celebrate with family, loved ones, and God.

Kia Nicole’s CD Release Show will be held November 18, 2017 at The Cookbook Restaurant located at 1827 Pearl St. at 7pm. Entry is free so you have no excuse not to have your face in the place! After you vibe to Kia Nicole’s performance don’t forget to buy her latest CD (only $10) before you leave!
